Two sleepless days, and Mushtor was tired. He hadn't had to use his medical knowledge in over a year and with all of the complications of the spider poison, his brain felt stretched. Finding the necessary drugs, while floating on a barge, in the jungle of another dimension seemed impossible. In the unlikely chance they found a useful plant they would only be risking another encounter with disease ridden spiders... or worse. Mushtor had healed before without medicines, using prayer and occasional electic shocks in strategic places. But in this far away world that seems to never have heard of Bahamut, for the first time Mushtor wondered if his prayers would be answered.
"Ok, Wudstik, Alistair. Wake up, we need to talk a minute. Everyone above deck is tired and need to get some winks. So I've emptied your evacuation buckets but the smell is still unbearable. Even Arc's amazing powers of cologne smell, have been rendered useless. The time has come to take a bath. Beerwin!"
The doors open and the minotaur enters carrying a huge steaming tub of blessed water. Immediately upon seeing the tub, Wudstik quietly backs toward the corner. Beerwin passes by Alistair and places the tub between Wudstik, herself and the door. Without taking his eyes off the shifter, Mushtor continues "Alistair, a bath has been prepared for you upstairs. Gerrand the liar and that pirate bird man who's name i forget will escort you. Please lock the hatch behind you. Arc, don't unlock it until i give the signal."
The three stood stiffly staring at each other with the steaming tub between them. Naked (save for some green vomit in his fur) Wudstik dwarfed by armor clad Mushtor on one side and seven foot tall Beerwin on the other. "Our weapons and your weapons and armor have been hidden until all of this is over. Can we please do this the easy way?" Mushtor asked. "You know, the Bahamut way?"
Warily, Wudstik looks at the tub of water, at Mushtor, then Beerwin, and back to the tub again.
"There is NO way."
As Mushtor and Beerwin close the gap, Wudstik hears Beerwin whisper, "Here kitty kitty..."
